Testing for Hepatitis B

Heritage Labs recently had an inquiry concerning the hepatitis B tests offered as part of their reflex panel and the apparent discrepancy with the requirements of certain reinsurers. The case involves a female applicant, age 27, with normal transaminases, and a positive result for hepatitis B surface antigen.
