Kathleen McGrath
Kathleen McGrath has spent the last 23 years working in insurance publishing and, more recently, in regulatory compliance for the industry.
While working in MIB's Center for Medico-Actuarial Statistics for 20 years, Kathleen helped transition the work of publishing books by Ed Lew, Dr. Richard Singer, Harry Woodman and others from traditional print processes to electronic publishing, and participated in the editing and indexing of titles such as Medical Risks: Trends In Mortality By Age And Time Elapsed, and the Multiple Medical Impairment Study.
Kathleen is best known in the industry as editor of MIB's Knowledge Digest and, since 2006, her website InsureIntell, aggregating information-rich content from around the Web for underwriters, actuaries, medical directors and other professionals working in the life and health arenas. She works as a Regulatory Compliance Writer-Analyst focusing on filing, contract provisions and more.
As the mother of a very busy teenage son, she sees Empty Nest Syndrome looming ever larger on her radar screen. Unlike Hank, Kathleen is not a Cheesehead – she's a Patriot.
Joining forces with an expert like Hank to present the Web's richest repository of highly relevant and timely information to busy life and health insurance professionals fulfills a goal Kathleen has had for over a decade.
